The question is no longer whether Europe can copy Silicon Valley. It is whether European founders can use the foundation Europe already has. The next wave of category-defining European companies will not come from founders who run away from regulation. It will come from founders who understand how to build with it.

People from more than 30 European countries came together to talk about Europe, innovation, and how to handle change — not just technologically, but also socially and humanly. I left the day with a lot of confidence, because I met people who want to shape things positively together. WE ARE EUROPEANS. UNITED BY AGENCY, RESPONSIBILITY AND TRUST.

Yesterday's HumanxAI conference at ViennaUP definitely gave me some new things to consider. LLMs make it easy to "outsource your brain" — but that doesn't mean you should stop training this muscle. Think about when you outsource it and where to. And Ivan Krastev's closing line stayed with me: "Optimism can be as toxic as pessimism, but there is nothing wrong with being hopeful."

What does it mean to be good at your job when AI already has the answers? That was the question Dr. Thomas Leoni left hanging in the room. It's no longer about who can find the answer fastest. What's becoming rare is the ability to take an output and place it in the right context. That's not a technical skill. It's judgment. Experience. Pattern recognition.
