Human × AI is a European conference and a year-round Content Hub. The 2027 edition, “Building Europe’s Sovereign Growth Engine”, is about ecosystems and capital for industrial transformation: how Europe can create the economic foundation to develop, finance, govern and scale the technologies and business models that anchor its sovereignty.

No. Human × AI, also written Human x AI or HumanxAI, is a European conference held in Vienna as part of the ViennaUP festival, with a year-round Content Hub at humanxai.events, organised by Human×AI Europe. HumanX is a separate AI conference series run by a different organisation, with events in the United States and Amsterdam. The two are not affiliated.

On 11 May 2027 in Vienna, Austria, as part of the official agenda of ViennaUP 2027 (10 to 14 May 2027). The venue and the start time have not been announced yet; they will be published on this site.

Venue and Vienna

Human×AI Europe, founded in 2026 by Gergana Nikolova, Zoran Arsovski, Alexei Lazarov and Visibilio. The conference is built together with its Builders (Visibilio, SEG, Xactway and Verto Digital), its Exclusive Vienna Ecosystem Partner GrowDACH+, its Co-Builders (Sistemma and City Ideas Institute) and its Co-hosts (ViennaUP Festival and Vienna Business Agency).

Human × AI 2027 is part of the official agenda of ViennaUP 2027 and takes place on 11 May 2027, during the festival. The first edition, on 19 May 2026, was part of ViennaUP 2026. ViennaUP Festival and Vienna Business Agency are Co-hosts of Human × AI.

All over Vienna. The festival is decentralised: local and international organisations host its events across the city.

Each event has its own ticketing: many events are free, some are paid and some require an application. Prices of paid events appear after a one-time free registration on the ViennaUP ticketing platform. There is no single ticket for the whole festival.

Everyone who attends at least one event counts as an official festival participant and receives a wristband that unlocks perks at the ViennaUP Homebase and at participating Café Spaces.
